Had to get this for a class in college, and as a student in vocal performance (BOTH classical and musical theater, and etc) it is exactly what you should have if you are thinking of teaching voice, this is the more technical approach the craft and what the voice is itself but good to have the scientific knowledge and know what your talking about when teaching AND even for youself as you continue to develop as a singer of ANY genre. It also helps (EVEN NON-SINGERS!!!!!) you to understand how certain natural speaking habits can harm or help you to a more well rounded /healthy voice. Huaqun Guo obtained BEng and MEng from Tianjin University in 1989 and 1991 respectively, and obtained M.Eng and PhD from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2001 and 2007 respectively. She was a senior engineer, Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL), Singapore from 2000 to May 2001. She was a senior research staff, NUS from June 2001 to March 2003. She was an Ordinary Member of Singapore Computer Society from 2000 to 2005. She is an IEEE member from 2007, a committee member of IEEE SG WIE AG 2008, and a member of SingAREN (Singapore Advance Research and Education Network) from 2000. Dr. Guo is currently a research fellow at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore. She has published number of papers in the international journals and conferences. Her research areas include multicast, vehicular network, P2P computing, security, networked middleware, and multimedia communication system.

The book argues that MacIntyre's philosophical development can be seen as a response to the question of how belief in a comprehensive metaphysical system can be justified. Such a system provides its believers with an account of the nature of the universe and human nature, and a basis for their ethical reasoning and action. The book draws on Lindbeck's cultural-linguistic account of religion to argue that such a system is primarily a way of interpreting the world and the place of humanity within it, rather than a speculative theory. The justification of belief in such systems can be understood in terms of MacIntyre's account of tradition-constituted rationality, provided that this notion of rationality is made more specific by the incorporation of elements of Lindbeck's theology. Equally, the book argues that Lindbeck's theology can be strengthened by the incorporation of elements drawn from MacIntyre's work. This book will be of value to students of philosophy and theology and to the general reader who is interested in the question of the grounds of belief.

Who's the Bait now??

DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!! WOW!! That's the only way to describe Bait!! The twists and turns have you second guessing everything you thought you knew from Hunter & Prey!!

There's a thin line between sane and insanity, but who's to say where that line is? That's what Penelope needs to figure out. Does she follow her current plan, to bring down Darren or does she create a new one? Is there a chance she can walk away or will she meet her demise once Darren finds out she's back? Can she save his new eye candy or will she too join his collection of dolls?

These are questions I thought I knew the answers to. Boy was I wrong. But I loved being wrong in this case. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough!! Even then, I was surprisingly shocked at where Kira went with this story. I still couldn't get enough. I wish there was more to come, but this was an absolutely perfect ending for Penelope and Darren!!!

I had been waiting for this from the moment I finished Hunter and Prey and I was absolutely not disappointed. These characters, that are so twisted and barely hold a redeeming quality, captured me from the first sentence and forced me continue reading well in to the night. I had no choice but to discover just how things would end and I loved every moment. Beautifully written. A must read if you love a dark and twisty tale.

I waited so long for this book to be released, I had a hard time remembering what was happening in this series. It's a very twisted, dark, erotic thriller. you will be taken on an emotional roller coaster ride. Some of the twists are very shocking. Contains some crazy, steamy, deranged, sex scenes.
But. I didn't love this book, like I did the first book, in this series. Glad it's over!!!!
